About

From the wider perspective of my fifties, I see a woman resolutely into sophistication and refinement; voluntary, determined, courageous, committed and indocile. My forerunner temperament nourishes my creativity and my enthusiasm in business. I dare freely, and when success is long overdue; I learn from my missteps by redefining them in springboards

I learned to appreciate live, endeavoring to gratefully detect and value each tiniest particle of beauty. I strive in return to offer quality in sharing and I fiercely resist the darkness of pessimism, when severity and atrocity revolt me

You understand that I assume my singularity, my personality and my strong character, results of the fusion between my Afro-Caribbean identity, the values of my very European bourgeois education and the diversity of my cultural fields. As for the dynamism of my thinking and the modernity of my talking, they feed on my lifestyle, between France where I was born and the United States that my heart has chosen

In the cosmetics industry for three decades, I am an actor who challenges customers and professionals; so that, starting from innovative reflections, their views meet, their perceptions merge, and their mentalities evolve in order to increase levels of satisfaction

By entering the professional field, nothing predestined me to occupy the space that I have defined, neither my profile of multi-graduate in capacity to undertake responsibilities, nor even my experience as a consumer. Opportunities have guided my career. My own requirement did forced me to get involved and invest myself in a meticulous and documented research, with imminent scientists and multicultural researchers, in France and the United States. So, for more than twenty-five years, my voice has emerged as a counterweight to misconceptions. Ever since, professionals as well as customers recognize me the status of an expert on what refers to brown skins

The qualification brown skins is sometimes surprising. However, it is easy to explained and easy to understand

Many documented studies in biology, confirm the similarity of African, Asian and European skin and hair constituents; Emphasizing, however, their functional differentiation to respond primarily to exposure to solar radiation; which redefines the overall market in two divisions: “brown skins” and “fair skins”

This revolutionary approach rationalizes the task of brands and services providers. It shows that is it easy to integrate the plural dimension of ethnicity with the existing cosmetics offer, to conquer an exponential part of new customers and get their loyalty

Talking about skincare, the appropriate answer is to modulate directions for each given formula to suit any variation of the related need in African, Asian and European customers group, according to the functional modulations due to respective dominant ethnic ancestry. And, talking about makeup, the priority is to extend the existing color chart of complexion products, incorporating therein the palette of dark skin tones

In order to demystify misconceptions and to defuse erroneous cultural habits, I host didactic workshops bringing together African, Asian and European customers; I train professionals, lecture and partner with the media. Meanwhile, to bring some fun to my demonstration, I chose to illustrate my point by developing my own cosmetics brands

Now that you know me a little better, I hope that while you’re enjoying what you see and read, you do feel like following it… You are the most welcome!

We will share stories of beauty with humor and levity; but we will also bring beauty out from inside ourselves
